HEALTH & SAFETY
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser[s], officials and stewards. [BE Rule 3.17.i]
The Organisers advise that, due to the uneven and, in parts, irregular terrain at this event, it may be difficult at times for spectators to move around freely and easily, as a result of which it may not be suitable for those spectators who suffer from certain medical conditions. All the spectators enter the event at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear. The Organisers shall not incur any liability, except as required by law, in respect of any injury or damage to any spectators howsoever sustained. [BE H&S Guidelines 3.26]
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
Please note that the use of small motorbikes and ATVs [quads] is not permitted in the Deer Park during the period of the event, unless specifically authorised by the Organiser[s].
Disclaimer of Liability
Except for the negligence of the organisers, or their agents or others for whom they in law are responsible, the organisers do not accept responsibility in respect of any accident, illness or disease caused to or suffered by any horse, owner, rider spectator, sponsor and others present at the site of the Event and their property and accoutrements. [BE Rule 2.17.viii]
Reservation of Rights
The Organisers have the power to:
1. Cancel or divide any class or transfer competitors between sections of a class;
2. Alter the advertised times; or
3. Refuse any entry. [BE Rule 3.31]
